Types K and KA Sand Pump
Models K and KA sand pumps were designed with a 3/4"
sucker rod pin on top to enable a quick attachment or detachment
from a Guiberson-type swivel rope socket. Either the #8 sleeve
or the #27 sleeve with a swab cup can be used.
The only difference in the Models K and KA is the length
of the plunger. The K-7 plunger is 6 feet long, and the KA-7
plunger is 12 feet long.
Standard sizes for Models K or KA are 2½", 3",
3½", and 4".
