Type J - Midco Cleanout Sand Pump for Slim Holes
The Midco Type J Cleanout Sand Pump and Sand Pump is designed
to run inside of 2 7/8" and smaller tubing or casing
for removing all types of sand, frac balls, pieces of rubber,
metal and other debris.
The plunger rod type construction of this sand pump is equipped
with an API sucker rod pin connection at top, to run on wire
line with tubing rope socket, permitting use with jars and
sinker to provide additional weight when needed. This assembly
can be used for breaking up and removing cement plugs and
drillable bridge plugs.
The standard length of these slim hole sand pumps is twenty
feet; length of stroke is twelve feet; and overall length
with plunger extended is 33 feet. Other lengths and extra
heavy tubes are available.
Standard sizes are 1¾" and 2 1/8".
