Type G Midco Sand Pump
The Type G Midco Sand Pump is designed to permit the use of cable tool
jars and sinkers above the Sand Pump. This feature provides the utmost in
safety, as the additional weight permits a much more effective jarring
action, if you ever need to free the Sand Pump. This will eliminate many
line cutting and fishing jobs.
The Type G Sand Pump is also better adapted for reconditioning work on
wells which produce exceptionally low gravity oils. The additional
weight will force a passage through and enable the Sand Pump to operate
efficiently in heavier oils, when a lighter tool would fail.
You can save considerable time when bailing on a single drum unit.
The cable tool pin on the sand pump permits quick change from swab or
other tools when needed in reconditioning operations to alternate in
their use. An adapter swab with a quick-change bull plug is also
available.
The length of stroke is approximately twelve feet for all sizes of
type G Sand Pump. The overall length is approximately forth-three feet.
Other strokes or overall lengths can be furnished on special order.
The steel plunger rod linking sleeve to the cable tool pin
connection is very substantial in size and well suited to severe use.
Standard sizes are 3", 3½", 4" and 4¾".
