Various types of bottoms for Midco Bailers are available for use in removing hard bridges, thin slushy material, hard pieces of sand or shale, etc. All types of bottoms are interchangeable with all types of Midco Bailers.

Type H Combination Sand Bottom

The Type H Combination Sand Bottom is used for removing sand or slushy material. The one-piece construction practically eliminates the possibility of loss of any part during loading operations. Unloading is accomplished by loosening set screws until flapper assembly No. H1 drops free. The dart assembly No. H3 can be used in conjunction with this bottom at any time necessary, by loosening set screws holding H1 assembly and inserting dart assembly.
